The Granby Fine Arts Booster exists as a nonprofit organization to support and enhance the extracurricular fine arts programs at GMHS.

Our purpose is to provide supplementary logistical, communication, and financial support to the fine arts educators, directors, and coordinators of GMHS and their respective programs by providing assistance through coordination of fundraising, volunteers, event coordination, budget management, and communication.

For the academic years of 2023-24 and 2024-25, the Granby Fine Arts Booster is supporting the GMHS dramatic arts program. The immediate objectives and key results of this pilot are the following:

  • Streamlining tools and systems to assist in managing the dramatic arts program, ensuring the production budgets are financially self-sustainable.

  • Recruit and coordinate the logistical and financial contributions to the drama program from parents, vendors, and community sponsors.

  • Supplement the district-provided staffing budget allocations with community-raised funds for other production expenses.
